The Riot Edge 13 is an intermediate sized touring kayak that sits between the Edge 11 and Edge 15. Riot Edge 13 has the capacity for overnight trips but without an awkward or unwieldy length. The Edge 13 is well suited for a range of waterways, from canals and gentle flowing rivers through to larger open water crossings of lakes, lochs or calm coastal conditions.

With exceptional stability thanks to its wide point, the Edge 13 has a nice blend of primary and secondary stability. The seat features Riot’s Flex 4 seating system which offers a number of adjustments from lumbar support height through to an easy to engage leg lifter to improve connectivity in the kayak.

Twin hatches can be found at either end of the kayak, sealed internally with bulkheads to ensure that whatever is placed inside remains as dry as possible. While a small day hatch can be found just fore of the cockpit. With ample deck lines and bungees crossing the deck the Edge 13 has capability of being loaded up and allowing for multi-day trips. Rear accessory tracks allow for any number of additional items to be added (and removed) without needing to fix them to the kayak, making it incredibly popular with those looking to do the occasional fishing, or indeed adding a camera mount.

The size of this kayak is best suited to small - medium sized paddlers.
