Werner's lightest construction for the extremely popular Powerhouse. The Carbon bladed Straight shaft Powerhouse has a big full sized blade to give instant acceleration and responsiveness.
The dihedral shaped blades are constructed of Werners' premium material Carbon Fibre, this makes for a stiffer material with increased strength and rigidity. This reduces blade fluttering and allows for a more comfortable loose grip when paddling, easing fatigue. The asymmetric design features a pronounced tip for an optimised forward stroke, with a smooth movement from catch to release the Powerhouse is popular for good reason.
A teardrop shaped carbon paddle shaft is warm and comfortable inside a closed hand, with the elliptical design giving improved control and orientation, to reduce the chance of "slicing" in the water. All the while giving the strongest shaft possible for peace of mind when deep into inaccessible locations charging hard white water.
Available in different lengths to suit different paddlers, the Powerhouse is also available in a range of material constructions; Glass with a Straight Shaft, Glass with a Neutral Bent Shaft, or the premium Carbon with a Neutral Bent Shaft. It is worth noting that the blade shape remains the same on each of these.
