Efficient & Quick Hull Design

With its 13ft length, 29in beam, and classic tri-form hull design, the Hydra 130 is perfectly suited for both speed and stability in choppy coastal waters. The flared bow and aggressive rocker handle rough waters and keep you moving, while the low centre-of-gravity contoured seating position and backrest provide comfort for long fishing trips. Plus, the Vibe Gravity Rudder and freeflow footrests make steering a breeze in cross winds and changing tides. The Gravity Rudder is also 'Bixpy-Ready' making it super easy to motorise your Hydra with a lightweight electric Bixpy K-1 Motor Kit, for those who want to really take their kayak fishing game to the next level!

Gear & Kit Storage

The Vibe Kayaks Hydra 130 Angler comes with 4 flush mount rod holders, 2 front-facing and 2 rear-facing. These holders are perfect for keeping your rods secure and within reach while fishing at anchor or trolling lures. Additional rod tip keepers can be found on the bow for secure storage during surf launches and landings. The Vibe Versa Console adds even more convenience with its hinged lid that opens to reveal a sealed tackle storage area, with two flip-lid storage hatches, slide tracks, a cupholder, and a magnetic tackle holder. The console lid's tracks also make a great spot to mount a fish finder. A large oval bow hatch, equipped with easy-open latches, offers ample storage space and is perfect for storing a fold-up trolley, like the Railblaza C-Tug. Paddle parks are conveniently located on the bow and sides of the kayak for quick and easy stowing while fishing.

The rear cargo area has been optimized to fit popular kayak crate systems such as YakAttack BlackPak Pro and Hobie H-Crate. Secure your gear with bungee tie-downs and have easy access to your lures, jigs, and tackle with space for two Plano 3700 Waterproof Tackle Boxes (purchased separately) located behind the seat. An additional screw hatch at the stern allows for easy installation of accessories like an anchor trolley system.

Easy To Outfit & Accessorise

Easily customize the Hydra into your ideal fishing kayak with integrated gear tracks. Use T-Track accessories from Railblaza, Ram Mounts, and YakAttack along the 6 top-loading tracks. Additional tracks on the footwells and cargo area provide space for more rod holders and camera mounts, while shorter tracks at the stern are perfect for a safety flag or visibility kit. The hull features a recessed transducer port and protective cover for easy installation of fish finders. Plus, 2 molded-in M5 threaded brass inserts brass inserts offer options for mounting transducer brackets and other accessories. The Versa Console gear tracks also allow for a centrally mounted fish finder screen using a track-mounted mount. And, 4 M5 threaded brass inserts at the front of the footwell provide options for installing rectangular base mounts.

Comfortable seating and seat indent

The Hydra 130 Angler features a specially designed, contoured seating area that offers both comfort and improved stability in rough coastal waters. The Flex seat provides excellent back support, while the adjustable Freeflow footrests allow for efficient paddling. The footwells are padded for added comfort underfoot, and the deck is self-draining through multiple scupper holes. The Bow, Stern, and Side Phantom Grip carry handles make it easy to lift the kayak, and other notable features include deck lines, rod leash clip points, and a replaceable skid plate at the stern.
